Issues with Wi-Fi Connectivity on AMB23 Using Arduino SDK

Hello

I’m experiencing difficulties getting stable Wi-Fi connectivity on my AMB23 board when using the Arduino SDK. The board sometimes fails to connect to the network & when it does, the connection drops unexpectedly after a short period. :upside_down_face:

I’ve tested with different routers and network configurations, but the issue persists. Other devices connect without problems. :upside_down_face:

I tried modifying the example Wi-Fi sketch by increasing the connection timeout and adding reconnection logic, but the instability remains. I have checked Connect to WiFi – Realtek IoT/Wi-Fi MCU Solutions Java documentation guide for reference but still need help.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues with Wi-Fi on the AMB23? Are there any recommended workarounds or firmware updates that could improve stability?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @keral,

This sounds like you might have a faulty device. My AMB23 is able to connect to WiFi quite reliably.

Can you try this example and modify your SSID/password accordingly? WiFi – Connect to WiFi networks – Realtek IoT/Wi-Fi MCU Solutions

Maybe try with Arduino IDE 2.3.4.

Thank you.
