Hello there,
I am new to the Ameba IoT platform and excited to dive into the world of Internet of Things projects using these boards. I have done a bit of research; and the community here seems incredibly knowledgeable; so I thought I would reach out for advice as I start this journey.
To give you a bit of context; I have some experience with Arduino and Raspberry Pi; but I am curious to explore the unique features of Ameba boards; particularly their Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. My initial goal is to create a smart home device; like a Wi-Fi enabled temperature and humidity sensor that integrates with an app or dashboard for real time monitoring.
Which Ameba board would you recommend for a project like this? I have looked at the RTL8722DM and RTL8195AM; but I am unsure which is better suited for IoT beginners.
What is the best way to set up the development environment? I have seen that Ameba supports both Arduino IDE and its own SDK. Which one is better for beginners; and are there any good tutorials or resources you would suggest?
If I want to integrate the device with a cloud platform; like AWS or Azure Administrator, is there built in support, or would I need to write custom integrations?
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.
