BW16/rtlduino BLE coded PHY

Hello ALL,

On the BW16/ rtlduino modules , is FEC coded PHY possible on the BLE? Just learned of this technology. This would be used in a lost drone scenario trying to locate it. From what have gathered not all BLE 5.0 modules have this capability.
Looking through the AN0400 Ameba-D Application Note PDF , or the UM0201 BT PDF I see no mention of this possibility.

Coded PHY is not supported on the RTL8720/RTL8722. Only 1M and 2M PHYs are supported.
