Channel plan 0x2A for Australia shows no channels, unable to connect to 5G SSID

We were running tests with a client in Australia, they are using our new tags with uBlox module (/w RTL872x on board) and their environment is 5G. As we discussed before, setting the country using wifi_set_country became significant when connecting to 5G networks, as it controlled the channel plan, which in turn controlled the allowed channels for active scanning, which essentially allowed hidden networks or not. We struggled with hidden networks in our office (in the US) until we set the country to US, which internally sets the 0x76 channel plan and things started working

The Australian client, logically, set the country to Australia, and their tags could not connect. Seems (per the doc screen capture below) setting the country to Australia sets channel plan to 0x2A, which shows no channels…

Can you please elaborate on why no channels are shown for Australia/channel plan 0x2A? What is the recommended way to run this module in Australia?

What I advised the Australian client was to set the country to US, and once that was done, their tags started connecting. I was under the impression that setting the country is enough to set up the module to comply local 5G restrictions and requirements. Do you think we need to provide a way to manage and set the channel plan besides setting the country? I am a little confused, what takes precedence - set country or set channel plan?

If setting the country to US allows their tags to connect (in Australia), are there any conceptual issues or compliance concerns with that?
