# What is GTimer?

I’m a stickler for explanation of names. I’m sure people that are familiar with it don’t think about it. But for new people it would go a lot easier to just say why it’s called GTimer, it’s purpose, etc. I know it’s something about passing data to/from timers is my guess.

I loaded the example. At least it says" This sketch shows how to use several hardware timers in invoke handler only once for each timer." I know now. But it would help before selecting one to know what it does. Maybe add that to the web page with a little more verbiage. I think it would help sell the product to see a little more.
