# The BW16 module is connected to the 5G AP

When the BW16 module is connected to a 5G AP, the AP ssid can be connected properly when broadcasting is enabled. When the AP ssid is disabled, the following error is reported  
◆dissconn reason code: 0  
scan stage, scan timeout

Hi @Frank ,

Unfortunately, BW16 is not able to connect to a 5G hidden SSID AP as it uses passive scan to detect only broadcasted AP SSID. Apologize for the inconvenience caused.
