Want to use a different camera sensor with your AmebaPro2 board? This guide will walk you through the steps to configure and switch camera sensors using the AmebaPro2 Arduino SDK.

If your desired camera sensor is not available in the official AmebaPro2 Arduino SDK release, you can check the **pre-release version** , which may include support for additional camera sensors that have not yet been included in the official release.

### Step 1: Set Up Arduino IDE

Follow the [Getting Started with Ameba](https://ameba-doc-arduino-sdk.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/ameba_pro2/amb82-mini/Getting_Started/Getting%20Started%20with%20Ameba.html) guide to install and configure your Arduino IDE for AmebaPro2.

###

### Step 2: Install the Pre-release Version

To use the pre-release version of the AmebaPro2 Arduino SDK:

1. Open **Arduino IDE**.

2. Navigate to **File → Preferences**.

3. Locate the **Additional Boards Manager URLs** field.

4. Copy and paste the following URL into the field:

5. Click **OK** to save the changes.

6. Navigate to **Tools → Board → Boards Manager**.

7. Search for **AmebaPro2** and install the latest pre-release board package.

### Step 3: Select the Camera Sensor

Once the AmebaPro2 Arduino SDK board package has been installed, follow the steps below to select your desired camera sensor.

1. Navigate to **Tools → Board → Realtek Ameba Boards (32-bit Arm v8M @500MHz)**.

2. Select your board, such as **AMB82-MINI**.

3. Navigate to **Tools → Camera Options**.

4. Select the camera sensor you wish to use from the available options.

**Note:** The default camera sensor is **JXF37**. Ensure that the selected camera sensor matches the sensor connected to your AmebaPro2 board.
