# KM0 2nd Bootloader

While looking around the Ameba-D Standard SDK, I’ve noticed in [component/soc/realtek/amebad/bootloader\_2nd](https://github.com/Ameba-AIoT/ameba-rtos-d/tree/main/component/soc/realtek/amebad/bootloader_2nd) there’s instruction for KM0 2nd bootloader, yet nowhere else is it mentioned (including AN0400 and UM0400). I’m curious, what are its use cases?
