# Can RTL8720DN promisc mode receive A-MPDUs?

Hi everyone! I wonder if the RTL8720DN in promiscuous mode is able to receive aggregated 802.11 frames (A-MPDUs). If yes, I have a couple of questions:
- Is it an automatic feature, or is it something I have to configure in some way?
- Is my promisc\_callback() called for every fragment?
- How do I know which is the fragment I am receiving?

Hi Xavier,
There is A-MPDU rx feature (not sure it’s for promisc mode), but it’s not accessable under the open-source SDK, you may have to sign NDA to gain access to more source code
