The red LED near the USB connector on the AMB82-mini stays on all the time. Can it be turned off from software with the FreeRTOS SDK (GPIO, register or config option)?

If not, which component is better and safer to desolder: the LED or its series resistor? Please share the reference designator.

Thanks!

I have poured over the SDK and it seems the red LED is hardwired. I believe desoldering it should be safe.
