# AMB82-Mini Arduino monitor filled with unwanted debug messages

Hello,

Im trying to debug my own code, but i cant print anything out because some code inside WiFiClient class is constantly printing thousands of debug messages.

There are other classes that are doing the same thing, taking over the debug monitor by filling it with unwanted internal debug messages, making debugging impossible.

Anybody knows how to stop those?

Hi @nsmith1024,

In order to remove the debug messages of “[ERROR] get\_available Accept connection failed”, you may comment off the print error message in line 350 of [ard\_socket.c](https://github.com/Ameba-AIoT/ameba-arduino-pro2/blob/dev/Arduino_package/hardware/cores/ambpro2/ard_socket.c).

Dear @nsmith1024,

1. To comment off the print statement, you may proceed to the directory on your pc path C:\Users{uesername}\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\realtek\hardware\AmebaPro2\4.0.8-build20241008\cores\ambpro2, then find file name ard\_socket.c.

2. Open up the file and go to line 350 you will saw this line printf(“\r\n[ERROR] %s Accept connection failed\n”, **FUNCTION** ); and and comment off by adding //. eg. //printf(“\r\n[ERROR] %s Accept connection failed\n”, **FUNCTION** );

3. Save and close the file, no compile is needed.

4. Re-run your arduino code on arduino IDE.

How do i get rid of these other debug messages that are filling the screen with junk. I cant debug my own program because of all this junk flooding the screen.

I tried searching for the string but it doesnt show up anywhere.

Is there a way to block the internal libraries print statement from reaching the serial port?

Hello,

Im using Arduino IDE 2.3.6 and it does not have that selection in the menu to disable it.

Can i disable it from the code, because its wasting CPU time printing out data to the serial port that is not necessary.

Can you please tell me how to delete the print in the code itself?

The “queue full” warning is mainly due to environmental factors. There is no 100% perfect calibration to completely avoid this warning, but here are some suggestions:

- Network Environment
  - Shift from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz and increase bandwidth to minimize these warnings. All streaming demos are recommended to use 5 GHz.
  - Use a better Wi-Fi environment with less interference.
    - Simplify the Wi-Fi environment (e.g., fewer users, fewer routers).
    - Use a better antenna if possible.

- Queue Length
  - Currently, there is no API to control the queue length; it must be updated directly in the source code.
  - for comman video streaming

Im getting 10 frames per second using the YOLO on my AMB82-mini board.

I feel that 10 fps can be increased if it wasnt printing so much junk out the serial port for debugging. writing to the serial port can slow down the whole system.
